The Dingo Fence | National Film and Television School | 2023

Director, Producer & Main Camera

In the heart of Australia, the continent has been cut in two by the longest fence in the world in a bid to protect livestock from dingoes. Dingoes have divided the nation for the past 150 years, but with new research coming to light, is it time for this to change?

This involved three weeks on location in remote parts of Australia filming dingoes and the people affected by them. I was involved with filming long lens animal behaviour (FX6), handheld observational camerawork, recording interviews, timelapses and drone operating (DJI Mini).

Streaks of Fire | National Film and Television School | 2022

Director, Main Camera & Editor

Urban foxes live a risky lifestyle, yet they've made themselves at home in the streets of London. Meet the people trying to protect these misunderstood animals from the threats of their everyday lives.

This film involved two weeks of night shoots in London to capture fox behaviour (FX6) and one week filming at a rescue centre, run-and-gun style (FS7). This required filming long lens animal behaviour at night in an urban setting, shooting night timelapses and self-shooting interviews.

Selected for Festival International du Film Ornithologique de Ménigoute in France.

I was involved with drone operating (DJI Mini), long lens animal behaviour (C200), shooting with a gimbal (Ronin-SC with a7sii) and monitoring sound during interviews.
